one of the Justices of the Same County and in the mean time to keep the peace
and be of good Behaviour then this Recognizance to be void other ways to Stand

    Kent County Aprill 11: 1733  Memorandum that this day Nehemiah Powell
personally appeared before me one of his Lordships the Lord proprietarys
Justices of the Said County and Acknowledged himself to Stand and be Indebted to
his Said Lordship his heirs and successors in the Sum of twenty pounds
Sterling to be Leveyed on his Lands & Tenements goods and Chattles Conditionally
that a Certain Laughlan Obrien doe not make his personal
appearance at the next Court to be held for the Said County and Answer
unto an assault and Battery on a Certain Henry Evans Gentl. one of the
Justices of the Said County and in the mean time to keep the peace and
be of good behav.r this this Recognizance to be Void otherways to
Stand be and remain in full force power and virtue in Law

    Att which Said Court to wit at Kent County at the Court house in the
Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in June in the nineteenth
day of June Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty
three Came The afd Laughlan Obryan and in his proper person
appeared to the afd Recognizance and prayed that the Same
might be dischd and his Suretys recognizace for his appearance
be disch.d also    Ordered by this Court that the Same Recogn.s
as afd be disch.d Laughlan Obryan his recognizance as afd taken
in the Sum of Thirty pounds Sterling as afd Are by this Court here
disch.d there being no cause Shewn to the Contrary &c.a

    Nehemiah Powell his recognizance as afd taken in the Sum of
twenty pounds Sterling for the appearance of the afd Laughlan
Obryan &c.a and to Answer as afd  The Same Recognizance is by this
Court here disch.d there being no cause Shewn to the Contrary &c.a

    Kent County fs.t  The Jurors for the Right honourable the Lord prop.ry
that now is for the Body of Kent County upon their Oath do present that Laughlin Obrian
of S.t Pauls Parish in the County afd Joyner the tenth day of Aprill Anno Dom.
Seventeen hundred thirty and three at the Parish afd in the County afd within
the Jurisdicion of this Court in and upon a Certain Henry Evans Gentl. in
the Peace of God and of the Said Lord prop.ry then and there being with
force and Arms an assault did make and him the Said Henry then and
there did beat wound and evilly treat So that of his life it was
much Dispaired and other harms to him then and there to
