    It is also Considered by the Court here at this day to wit the day and year
last mentioned that the Sherrif of Kent County take the afd John Coleman into his
Custody and Execute the punishment in the Judgment afd Specified and afterwards
to bring him into Court again

    Of which precept to wit John Gresham high Sherrif of Kent County makes
Return on the day & Year last Said that the hath Executed the punishment in
the Judgment afd and also hath here the Said John Coleman before the Court

 Command was given on the nineth day of December Anno Dom.
one Thousand Seven hundred and thirty two To the Sherif of Kent
County that he take Nathaniel Hynson late of S.t Pauls Parish in
the County afd Gentl if he Should be found in your bailiwick and
him Safe keep So that he have his body before the Justices of our
next County Court to be held at our Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third
tuesday in March then next ensuing to Answer unto a Certain Indictment of an assault against
James Ear &c.a  And that the Same Sherrif have at the Same Court the Said Writ &c.a
At which Said Court to wit at Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Sd
County on the Third tuesday in March being the twentieth day of Said Month Anno Domini
One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty two the day of return of Said Writ Came
thereof endorsed as foll. viz.t Cepi Corpus p Jn.o Gresham Sherf

    Kent County fs.t  The Jurors for the right honourable the Lord prop.ry that now is
for the body of Kent County afd upon their Oath do present that Nathaniel Hynson late of
S.t Pauls Parish in the County afd Gent the twenty third day of November Anno Dom. Seventeen
hundred thirty and two at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdicion of this Court in
and upon James Ear in the Peace of God and of the Said Lord prop.ry then and there being
with force and Arms an assault did make and him the Said James then and there did
beat wound and evilly treat So that of his life it was much despaired and other harms to
him then and there did to the great Damage of the Said James and against the Peace of the
Said Lord prop.ry his good rule and dignity &c.a

    On the back of the Same was endorsed as foll. A true bill James Moore foreman

    And the afd Nathaniel Hynson in his proper person comes and Saith that he Cannot gainsay
the Indictment afd So as afd against him brought nor but that he is guilty of the premisses
above upon him Imposed as by the afd Indictment it is alledged and Thereupon
Submits to the Court    Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit
at Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third
tuesday in March being the twentieth day of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand
Seven hundred and thirty two  That the afd Nathaniel Hynson be find the Sum of
Sixteen Shillings and eight pence Current money of Maryland for his Offence for Committing
the assault afd and according to his Confession afd and also pay the Sum of two
hundred thirty Seven pounds of Tob.o fees accrueing to the officers of this Court ^on y.e premisses afd^ &c.a
