Be it Remembred that on the tenth of this Instant October 1732
Came Samuel Bostick and John Brown Jun.r did Acknowledge themselves
Justly Indebted unto the Right Honourable the Lord prop.r
of the province afd in the Sum of Twenty pounds Sterling each money of
great Brittaine to be leveyed on their bodies goods and Chattles Land and
Tenement  Conditionally that if a certain Rachel Bostick of the County
and province afd  Do not make her personal appearance before the the
Justices of his Said Lord Ships Court the third tuesday of November next then and
there to answer all Such matters and things as Shall be objected against her
Concerning her Suffering herself to begett with Custody a Certain James
Boyer of the afd County and do not Depart without Leave of the Court that
then this Recognizance taken before me to be void otherwise to Remain in
full force
            The Deposition of Rachel Bostick of Kent County in the province of
Maryland aged Eighteen or there about Deposeth that In January last past a
a Certain James Boyer of the afd County afd had Carnal knowledge of her body and did
then and there beget a bastard Child and further Saith not Sworn to before me

    And now here at this Court to wit the third tuesday in November being the twenty
first day of Said Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty two Came the
afd Rachel Bostick and appeared according to the tenor of the above Recogniz.c
and prays that her Suretys recognizance for ^her^ appearance be discharged  Ordered
by the Court here that the Same recognizances be discharged  The afd Samuel
Bostick and John Brown Jun.r there recognizances are by this Court here
discharged There being no cause Shewn to the Contrary &c.a

Hannah Bodeen Acknowledged herself Indebted unto
the Right honourable the Lord proprietarie of Maryland
his heirs and Successors twenty pounds Sterling to be Leveyed
on her Body Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally if her Servant John
Coleman doth not make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lord Ships
Court to be held at Chester Town in Kent County the third tuesday in November next then
and there to answer to an accon of felony for which he was Committed to Goal by
M.r Henry Evans Justice for Kent County after having taken his Confession &c.a
Then this Recognizance to be void otherwise to remain in full force Taken
before me one of the Lord prop.rys Justices for Kent County the date as above
written
