325 to be paid unto his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be Leveyed on his body goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if the afd James Thomas Jun.r Shall appear at any time dureing this Courts Sitting to Answer unto the afd Indictm.t for Commiting fornication &c.a and to be of good behaviour wherewith the afd John Rollinson acknowledges himself Content After which came the afd James Thomas Jun.r and appeared to the afd Recognizance and prayd he might be therefrom discharged Ordered by the Court here That the Same recognizance be discharged as prayd as also his Suretys The afd Recognizance is by this Court here disch.d There being no cause Shewn to the Contrary John Rollinson who was Security as afd his Recognizance is also discharged Ordered by the Court here that the afd James Thomas Jun.r enter into Recognizance for his appearance at next Court to Answer the afd Indictment and that good Surety also be given &c.a Thereupon the Same James Thomas Junior of Kent County Planter and present here in Court in his proper person cometh and Acknowledged himself indebted to the Right Honourable the Lord proprietary that now is in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling to be paid to his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and leveyed on his Body Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if the Same James Thomas Shall not make his personall appearance at next Court to be held for Said County on the third tuesday in March ensuing to answer unto a certain Indictment for Commiting fornication with a Certain Anne Whitehead and that in the mean time he is to be of good behaviour wherewith he acknowledges himself to be Content Also Benjamin Griffith and Henry Trulock both of Kent County Planters here present in their proper persons cometh and Acknowledged themselves indebted to the Right Honourable the Lord proprietarie that now is in the Sum of five pounds Sterling Each to be paid to his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors and to be made and Leveyed on their bodys Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally That if the afd James Thomas jun.r Shall not make his personall appearance at the next Court to be held for Said Kent County to Answer unto an Indictment of fornication which he the Same Committed with a Certain Anne Whitehead and that in the mean time the Same James Thomas is to be of good behaviour wherewith they acknowledged themselves to be therewith Content Ordered by the Court here that Anne Whitehead give Security for her appearance at next Court as an Evid.c against the afd James Thomas Jun.r Thereupon |
