    And at the third tuesday in August being the fifteenth day of Said Month the afd Information
was Continued untill the third tuesday in November then next ensueing &c.a

                At which said third tuesday in November Came the afd Margaret Jones and in her
proper person appeared

                                And the Same Margaret Saith that She Cannot gainsay the Information
afd So as afd against her Exhibited nor but that She is guilty of the fornication afd
above upon her imposed as by the afd Information it is alledged and thereupon
She Submits to the Court    Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to
wit at Kent County Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in
November being the twenty first day of Said Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and
thirty two  That the afd Margaret Jones Receive at the publick whipping post twenty
lashes well laid on her bare back tell the blood appear as a punishment for her Crime
of Commiting the fornication afd in form afd Confest And also it is Considered
that the Same Margaret Jones pay the Sum of three hundred and twenty Seven pounds of
Tobacco costs accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers of this Court &c.a

    It is also Considered by the Court here at this day to wit the SAme day and year
last mentioned  That the Sherrif of Kent County take the afd Margaret Jones into
his Custody and Execute the punishment in the Judgment afd Specified and afterwards
to bring her into Court againe Of which precept to wit John Gresham high
Sherrif of Kent County makes return on the day and Year last mentioned that he
hath Executed the punishment in the Judgment afd  And also hath here the Said
Margaret before the Court
                                        The Same is Ordered to give Security for payment of the
fees afd  Thereupon Came into Court Cap.t Ebenez.r Blackston of Kent County and promised
to pay the fees to the officers of this Court for the afd Margaret Jones and
the Same Margaret is from the Same discharged &c.a

 The afd John entered into Recognizance on the 10.th August
1732 before M.r George Skirven one of his Lordships Justices of this Court
in the Sum of ten pounds Sterl for his appearance to August Court
last on Account of an assault by him made on a Certain James Jones (as by the Same Recognizances
may appear in this book fol 31)  The Same John nott appearing at that Court the Same was
Continued untill this Court  And now at this Court to wit on the third tuesday in November being
the twenty first day of Said Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty two Came the
afd John and in his proper person appeared to the Same and prayd that the Recognizance
might be discharged &c.a  Ordered by the Court here that the Same Recognizance
be discharged.  The Same Recognizance is by this Court here discharged there being no
cause Shewn to the Contrary &c.a

    Kent County fs.t  Memorand.m that Tench Francis Gent. attorney of the right honourable
the Lord prop.ry that now is for the County afd who for the Same Lord prop.ry in this part prosecuteth
doth come here into Kent County Court before William Frisby Esq.r and his associates
his Lordships Justices of the Same County to wit at Chester Town in the afd County for
the tenth day of August Anno Domini Seventeen hundred thirty ^and^ two and for
the said Lord proprietarie doth give this Court here to understand and be informed
