day of Said Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty two the afd Indictment
was ^ordered to be^ Continued untill the third tuesday in August next &c.a

    At which Said third tuesday in August being the fifteenth day of Said Month Anno
Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty two the afd Indictment was Ordered to be Continued
untill the third tuesday in November next &c.a

    At which Said third tuesday in November being the twenty first day of Said Month
the Same Year afd Came the afd Anne Grames and in her proper appears and Saith that
She cannot gainsay the Indictment of fornication afd against her brought nor but that she
is guilty of the fornication above upon her imposed as by the afd Indictment it is
alledged  And thereupon Submits to the Court  Therefore it is Considered by the
Justices here to wit at Kent County Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County
on the third Tuesday in November being the twenty first day of Said Month Anno Dom.
Seventeen hundred and thirty two  That the afd Anne Grames pay the Sum of thirty
Shillings Current money as a fine for Commiting the offence of fornication afd n form
afd Confest  And also it is Considered that the afd Anne pay the Sum of four
hundred and twenty pounds of Tobacco costs accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers
of this Court

                The Same Court ordered that the Sherriff of Said County keep the afd Anne
in Safe Custody untill the fees afd Shall be Satisfied

    The Same Court orders That the Sherriff of Said County keep the af Anne in
Safe Custody untill She Shall give Security to keep the Child that was delivered of her from
any charge that may Accrue to the County &c.a

Gent attorney of the right honourable the Lord prop.ry
that now is for the County afd who for the Same Lord prop.ry
in this part prosecuteth doth come here into Kent County Court
before William Frisby Esq.r and his associates his Lordships Justices of the Same County to wit at
Chester Town in the afd County the Sixteenth day of August Anno Domini Seventeen hundred
thirty & two and for the Same Lord proprietarie doth give the Court here to understand and be
informed that Margaret Jones late of S.t Pauls Parish in the County afd Spinster the Servant
of Ebenezer Blackston the tenth day of June Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred thirty and
two at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdicion of this Court did commit fornication
with a person to the Said attorney unknown and did permit the Same unknown
person then and there to have carnal knowledge of her body and to beget then and
there a bastard child on the body of the Same Margaret contrary to the peace of
the Said Lord prop.ry and against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such case provide
Wherefore the afd Attorney prayeth the advice of the Court here in the
premisses for the Said Lord prop.ry and due process of Law against the afd Margaret
this part to Issue to answer to the said Lord proprietary of upon the premisses &c.a
