32                            August Court 1728

    At the then next Aug.st Court And now here at this day
to wit the twentieth day of Aug.st Anno Dom. 1728 the afd
Thomas having Appeared he is Discharged from said
Committment

    Edward Scott & Richard Fawsett both of Kent County
Gentl at Last Court for their Appearance at this Court
as an Evidence for his Lordship against the afd Thom.s
Martain & Now at this Court the afd Edward Scott
& Richard Fawsett appearing their Recog.c & either
of their Recognizance is Discharged

    Edward Scott and Richard Fawsett of Kent County
Gent at Last Court as afd Acknowledged themselves
Indebted unto the Lord prop.ry of this province of
Maryland in the sum of five pounds Sterling money
Each to be made & Leveyed &c Conditionally
that if they should not make their personall
appearance before the Justices of the then next
August Court as Evid.c against the afd Thomas
Martain on Suspition of felony And now here at
this day to wit the twentieth day of August Anno
Dom. Seventeen hundred & twenty Eight the afd
Edward Scott & Richard Fawsett ^having appeared^ their Recog.c and
Either of their recognizance is Discharged &c

    Thomas Martain Servant to M.r William
Nicholson being in Custody on Suspition of felony
three months & two days & the Cost amounts to 1845^£ tob.o^
the Court orders that he serve at the Expiration of this
time for the time he hath been Custody And the afd
tobacco the space of two years & three months Over &
above his Indenture time And Ordered that he return to
his Masters Service
