June Court 1732 And the afd William Tidmarsh in his proper person cometh and Saith that he cannot gainsay the Informacon afd So as afd against him brought nor can he Say but that he is guilty of the assault afd as afd mentioned and thereupon Submits to the Court Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at a Court held for Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in June being the twentyeth day of Said Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty two That the afd William Tidmarsh pay the Sum of one hundred pounds of Tobacco to his Ldship the Lord prop.ry &c.a as a fine for Committing the assault afd and also it is Considered that the afd William Tidmarsh pay the Sume of two hundred and Eighteen pounds of Tobacco costs accrueing on the premisses afd Jam.s Smith Clk
Mary doth not make her personall appearance at our next Court of Kent for sd Coty to be held at Chester Town to answer unto Such Matters as Shall be then & there objected against her by Elenor Macnamara concerning an assault & Battery made this day on the Said Elenor by the Said Mary & Concerning Some other Misdemenors tending to a breach of the peace and that if She do not depart without Leave of the Court and till then be of good Behaviour then this Recognizance to be void otherwise to be & remain in full force & Vertue in Law Taken before us two of the Lord prop.rys Justices for Kent County John Evans Geo Skirven And now here at this Court to wit on the Third tuesday of June being the twentieth day of June Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty two Came Tench Francis ^Gent^ Clk of the Indictments of this Court and desired the Same Mary Maccarty might be called Upon the Same ^the afd^ Mary being Solemnly called came not but made Default Ordered by the Court here that the afd Clk of the Indictments &c to wit an Informacon against his afd Mary on the Assault afd Memmorand.m May 12.th 1732 Richard Dowdall Acknowledged himself justly Indebted unto the Right Honourable the Ld prop.ry of Maryland his heirs and Successors five pounds Sterling to be Leveyed on his Body goods and Chattles Lands & Tenements Conditionally if a Certain Mary Maccarty doth not make her personall appearance at our next County Court |
