    Ordered by the Court here that the Sherrif of Kent County keep the afd Rosemond
in Custody untill She Shall Satisfie the officers of this Court the costs and
Charges afd

    Ordered by the Court here that The afd Rosemond enter into Recognizance
for her appearance to next August Court against John Mcherty

    Thereupon Came the afd Rosemond Barnes and in her proper person acknowledges
herself indebted to The Right Honourable the Lord proprietarie in the Sum of
five pounds Sterl to be paid to his Said Lord Ship his heirs and Successors and to
be made and Leveyed on his her body goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements
Conditionally that if ^She^ the afd Roseman Shall not at next August Court appear as
an Evid.c against the afd John McHerty wherewith she acknowledges
her Self Content

    Ordered by the Court here that the Clark of the Indictments Exhibit an
Information against the afd John Mcherty on acco.t of his begitting Rosemond
Barnes with Child and by &c.a

the Lord prop.ry that now is for the body of Kent County afd
upon their Oath do present that John Nemo late of S.t Pauls
Parish in the County afd Labourer the tenth day of June Anno
Domini Seventeen hundred thirty and one at the parish afd in the County afd within
the Jurisdicion of this Court did Commit fornication with Elizabeth Carr and then and
there did beget a bastard child on the body of her the Same Elizabeth to the high
displeasure of Almighty God to the Evil Example of all others in Such case offending
Contrary to the peace of the Said Lord prop.ry his good rule and Government and
against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such case made and provided
    Test Eliz.a Carr on the back of the preceding bill was endorsed as foll. viz.t
True Bill p Edw.d Worrell foreman

    And the afd John Nemo in his proper person cometh and Saith that he Cannot
gainsay the Indictment afd So as afd against him brought nor Can he Say but
that he is guilty of the ffornication afd above in the Indictment mentioned on
thereupon Submits to the Court    Therefore it is Considered by the Justices
here to wit at a Court held for Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester
in Said County on the third tuesday in June being the twentieth day of Said Month
Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty two  That the afd John Nemo pay
the Sum of thirty Shillings Current money as a fine for the Committing the
fornication afd in form afd Confest and Also it is Considered by the Justices
afd That the Same John Nemo pay the Sum of two hundred and twenty Six
pounds of Tobacco costs and charges accrued on the premisses afd &c.a

    Ordered by the Court here that Security for fee be gave  Thereupon
Frederick Hanson of Kent County Gent comes here into Court and
Acknowledged himself That he would pay the cost and charges afd for
the afd John Nemo &c.a
