    Ordered by the Court here that Security be gave for fees  Thereupon came
into Court also a Certain David fford of Said Kent County planter and
Acknowledged himself Security for the afd David Cole and that he would
pay for them the fees due as afd

David Cole
 The afd David Cole at last November Court entered into
recognizance for his appearance at this Court to answ.r
unto an Informacon for Commiting fornication with a
certain Elizabeth Beale in the Sum of ten pounds
Sterl also at the Same time David Ford entered into recognizance in the
Sum of ten pounds Sterl &c.a for to answ.r as afd        And now at this Court
to wit on the third tuesday in March being the twenty first day of Said Month
Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty one Came the afd David Cole
and in his proper person appeared and prayd that he might be disch.d
from his Said recognizance as also his Securitys recognizance for
his appearance  Ordered by the Court here that the Same Recogniz.c
and his Suretys be disch.d  This Court here discharges The afd David
Coles recognizance there being no cause Shewn to the Contrary Also
David Fords recognizance for the Said David Coles appearance &c.a is
by this Court here disch.d &c.a

honourable the Lord prop.ry that now is for the
body of Kent County afd upon their Oath do
present that William Bawdy late of S.t Pauls
Parish in the County afd planter the tenth day of October Anno Domini
Seventeen hundred thirty and one at the parish afd in the County afd
within the Jurisdicion of this Court in and upon Griffith Jones in the peace
of God and of the Said Lord prop.ry then and there being with force and Arms an
assault did make and him the Said Griffith then and there did beat wound
and evill treat So that of his life it was much despaired and other harms
on him then and there did to the great damage of the Said Griffith and ag.st
the peace of the Said Lord prop.ry his good rule and dignity &c.a
    Test Griffith Jones    On the back of the Same bill was endorsed as foll. viz.t
A true bill p Sam.l Wickes foreman

    And the afd William Body in his proper person comes and Saith that
he cannot gainsay the Indictment afd So as afd against him brought nor
________ Say but that he is guilty of the premisses afd Above upon
him Imposed as by the afd Indictment it is alledged ______________
