1728 persons Acknowledges themselves Indebted unto the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the sum of fifty pounds Sterl money each to be made and Leveyed &c.a Conditionally that if she should not make her personall app.c before the Justices the then next Nov.r Court to Answer unto what shall be Objected against her on his Lordship behalf & on Suspition of Intended Murther & in the mean time if she should not be of good behavour wherewith the afd Peter Massey & Samuell Gooding & either of them Acknowledges themselves Content
that her recogniz.c and her suretys recog.c be Discharged John Ashley and John Sturges both of Kent County planters at last Court did Acknowledge themselves Indebted unto the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the sum of ten pounds Sterl money of great Brittain to be made & Leveyed &c.a Conditionally that if the afd Sus.a should not make her personall appearance before the Justices of the then next Court to be held for Kent County to answer unto what shall be Objected against her on his Lordship behalf & if that in the mean time she should not be of good behavour And now here at this day to wit the 20.th day of August Anno Dom. 1728 the day of appearance to said Recognizance the said Sus.a app.rd And thereupon John Ashley & John Sturges their recog.c & either of them is Discharged Ordered by the Court that the said Sus.a be Committed till she give good Security untill the then next November Court Thereupon John Ashley and |
