August Court 1728 Dom. 1728 for his Appearance at this Court as an Evidence against Walther Freestone on behalf of his Lordship and now here the afd Joseph Davis having appeared his Recog.c & his Suretys Recognizance be Discharged Patrick Clark of Kent County Blacksmith at the day and year afd before the afd Thom.s Ringgold Acknowledged himself Indebted unto the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the sum of ten pounds Sterl money to be made & Leveyed &c.a Conditionally that if the afd Joseph should not make his personall appearance before the Justices of this Court as an Evidence against the afd Walther Freestone on Suspition of Intended Murther and now at this Court to wit the twentieth day of Aug.st Anno Dom. 1728 the afd Joseph having appeared the afd Patrick his recognizance is Discharged
against Freestone & Kath.n Hopkins on that amount Ordered that both be Committed untill they shall find good Security to answer at next Court to good behavour
Walther Freestone of Kent County Labourer at this day to wit the 20.th day of August in the year afd Acknowledged himself Indebted unto the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the sum of One hundred pounds Sterl money of great Brittain to be made & Leveyed &c.a Conditionally |
