then next at the Same parish & County more duly qualified to execute the powers in
the Same Commission to them committed and that James Greenwood of
Shrewsbury parish in the County afd planter afterwards to wit the tenth day
of October in the Same Year at the parish afd in the County afd within the
Jurisdicion of this Court haveing discourse with the Said William Frisby and
not being ignorant of the premisses then and there in the presence and
hearing of Many Liege Subjects of our Lord the King that now is unlawfully
maliciously and injurously to the Said William Frisby did Say Speak and with
a loud voice pronounce & publish You (the afd William Frisby meaning) are
a common warrant fellow And You (the Same William meaning) may kiss
my arse (the arse of the Said James Greenwood meaning) And the whole County
Court (the Justices afd meaning) are common warrant fellows to the
great Scandal and defamation of the Same Justices to the Manifest and
open contempt of the Same Lord prop.ry and his Laws contrary to the
peace of the Same Lord prop.ry his good rule & government and against
the form of the Act of Assembly in Such case lately made and provided
Wherefore the afd Attorney prayeth the Advice of the Court here in the
premisses for the Said Lord prop.ry and due process of Law against the afd
James Greenwood in this part to Issue to Answer to the Said Lord prop.ry of
and upon the premisses &c.a                                        T francis Cler. pac.

    And the afd James Greenwood in his proper person comes and Saith that he
cannot gainsay the ^Information^ afd So as afd against him brought nor but that
he is guilty of the premisses above upon him Imposed as by the afd Information
it is alledged And thereupon Submits to the Court    Therefore it is Considered
by the Justices here to wit at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said
County on the third tuesday in June being the fifteenth day of Said Month Anno
Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty one  That the afd James
Greenwood pay the Sum of Six hundred pounds of Tobacco to the use of the
free School of the afd County &c.a as a fine for the offence afd as afd Confest
and also pay the Sum of three hundred and Eleven pounds of Tobacco
cost Accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers of this Court &c.a
