219 And now here at this Court to wit at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in June being the fifteenth day of Said Month Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and thirty one came the afd John Smithers and in his proper person appeared to the afd presentment and made it appear that the afd presentm.t and made it appear that the afd presentment was not warranted by any Law of the province Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit the Same day and Year last mentioned That the afd John Smithers as to the presentm.t afd keeps thereof without day and also pay the Sum of pounds of Tobacco costs accrueing to the officers of this Court on the premisses afd &c.a
at this Court came the afd James and in his proper person Appeared and prayd he might be disch.d from his afd Recognizance as also his Surety Ordered by the Court here that the Same Recognizance be disch.d The afd Recognizance taken as afd in the Sum of tenn pounds Sterling to app.r as afd is by this Court here disch.d there being no cause Shewn to the Contrary Daniel Perkins of the afd County entered into Recognizance at last Court for the app.rc of the afd James Greenwood at this Court in the sum of tenn pounds Sterling The Same Recognizance is here disch.d Kent County fs Memorandum that Tench Francis Gentl attorney of the right Honourable the Lord prop.ry that now is for the County afd who for the Same Lord prop.ry in this part prosecuteth doth come here into Kent County Court before William Frisby Esq.r and his Associates his Lordships Justices of the Same County Court to wit at Chester Town in the afd County the fifteenth day of June Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred thirty and one and for the Same Lord prop.ry doth give patent with his great Seal of the province of Maryland Sealed bearing date at Annapolis the twenty eighth day of October Anno Domi Seventeen hundred & thirty did constitute the afd William Frisby Frederick Hanson John Evans George Skirven Philip Kennard George Wilson John Gresham Charles Hynson and Henry Evans Gentlemen his Justices of the peace and of the Said County Court in the Same County which Same Justices afterwards to wit the Eighteenth day of November then |
