thirty one Came the Same Philip Carrell and in his proper person appeared to the afd
Recognizance and prayd the Same might be Disch.d  Ordered by the Court here that the
Same Recognizance be disch.d  Thereupon the Same Recognizance taken as afd in
the Sum of ten pounds Sterl for his appearance & good behav.r at this psent Court
and to Answ.r unto an Indictm.t of fornication &c.a  And now The Same is disch.d no cause
being Shewn to the Contrary

    Also at the Same time afd Did Benjamin Blackiston of Said County a Surety
for the afd Philip Carrol in the Sum of ten pounds Sterl for the appearance &
Good behav.r & to answ.r as afd his Recognizance is by this Court here disch.d

    M.r William Frisby of the Said County Acknowledged himself in Recogniz.c
for a Certain Margret Falconar as Evid.c ag.st The Same Phil Carrol and now
at this Court the Same day last mentioned came the afd Margret and in
her prop.r pson appeared  Ordered by the Court here that the Same be
disch.d  The Same Recognizance as afd in the Sum of five pounds Sterl
for the Appearance of the afd Margret is by this Court here disch.d

    Kent County fs The Jurors for the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry that
                             now is for the body of Kent County afd upon their Oath do present
that Philip Carrol late of Shrewsbury parish in the County afd planter the
tenth day of Aprill Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred twenty and Nine at the
parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdicon of this Court did Commit fornication
with a Certain Margret Falconar and then and there did begitt a bastard Child on
the body of her the Same Margret to the high Displeasure of Almighty God
to the evil Example of all others in Such Case offending Contrary to the peace
of the Said Lord prop.ry that now is his good Rule and Government and
against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and provided

that he is in no Sort guilty of the premisses above upon him imposed as
