also returnd a bill on the Same and being called Appears and Saith that he is not guilty of the premisses above upon him Imposed as by the afd Indictment is alledged Ordered that Surety be gave for his appearance at next Court to answer the Same And the Same John Inch in his proper person comes into Court and acknowledged himself Indebted to the Right Hon.rble the Lord prop.ry of the province of Maryland in the Sum of forty pounds Sterl to be paid to his Said Lord Ship his heirs and Successors on his body Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if he the Same John Inch Shall not make his personall appearance at the next Court to be held for Said County on the third Tuesday in August next then and there to Answer unto an Indictment of felony for altering the mark of a hogg wherewith he Acknowledges himself Content And also at the Same time afd Came Philip Kennard and James Calder of Kent County Gentl. and acknowledges themselves Indebted to the Right Hon.rble the Lord prop.ry of the province of Maryland in the Sum of twenty pounds Sterling Each to be paid to his Said Lord Ship his heirs and Successors and to be made and Leveyed on their bodys Goods & Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally That if the afd John Inch Shall not make his personall appearance at the next Court to be held for Said County on the third Tuesday in August next then and there to Answer unto a Certain Indictment found by the Grand Jury for feloniously altering the mark of a hogg and in the mean time he is to be of good behav.r wherewith they Acknowledge themselves Content The Same Indictment is Continued
