June Court 1730 also pay the Sume of two hundred Eighty Eight pounds of tobacco Cost accrueing on the premises afd to the officers of this Court Jam.s Smith Clk The afd Rich.d Gresham entered into Recognizance this Court in the Sum of tenn pds Sterl to be Leveyd on his body Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the use of his Lordship his heires & Successors &c.a The afd Rich.d in his proper person appeared to the Same And prayd his Recognizance might be dishc.d Ordered by this Court here that the Same Recognizance be Dishc.d The Same Rich.d having entered into Recogniz.c the former part of this Court in the Same Sume afd Conditionally that if he Should not Appeare at any time dureing this Court to answ.r unto what Should be objected against him on his Lord Ship behalfe on and of an Assault made by him on a Certain Dom.k Kenslagh jun.r and that in the mean time he was to be of good behav.r No person shewing any Cause to the Contrary The Court here discharges the Same Recognizance
Town in the afd County the Seventeenth day of March Anno Dom. seventeen hundred twenty and nine And for the Same Lord prop.ry doth give the Court here to be discharged and be informed that Robert Anderson late of S.t pauls parish in the County afd Mariner the tenth day of June Anno Dom. seventeen hundred twenty and nine at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdicion of his Court did commit fornication with Mary Sharebourn and then and there did begett a bastard child on the body of her the Same Mary to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the evill example of all others contrary to the peace of the Said Lord propry his good rule and Governm.t and against the form of the Act of Assembly in Said Coty made and provided Wherefore the afd Attry prayeth the advice of the Court here in the premises for the Said Lord propry and due process of Law against the afd Robert in this part to issue to answer to the Said Lord prop.ry of and upon the prmises of the afd Mary Sharebourn T ffrancis Cler. pacis And the afd Robert in his proper person comes and defends the form and injury above &c.a And Saith that he is in no Sort guilty of the premisses above on him Imposed as by the afd Indictm.t it is alledged and of this he puts himself unto the Country &c.a And the afd Tench who for the Lord Propry in this part so Avoweth lik. wise Whereupon Command was given to the Sherf of Kent County that he Immediately cause to come here twelve By whom &c.a who Neither &c.a To Recognize &c.a because as well |
