Displeasure of Almight God to the Evil Example of all others in Such Case
offending contrary to the peace of the Lord Proprietarie that now is his good rule
and governm.t and against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case made

    And the afd George Copper Jun.r by John Johnson his Attry comes and Saith
that he cannot gainsay the Indictm.t afd So as afd against him brought nor but that
he is guilty of the premises above upon him imposed as by the afd Indictmt.t it is
alledged And thereupon Submits to the Court.  Therefore it is Considered by
the Justices here to wit Att the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said
County on the third tuesday in March being the Seventeenth day of Said Month Anno
Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty Nine  That the Same George Copper pay
y.e Sume of thirty Shillings as a fine for Committing fornication as afd and after
pay y.e Sume of One hundred and Eighty pds of Tobacco Cost Accrueing on the
premises afd to the officers of this Court Ord.rd The fine paid y.e w.ch is done

    Ordered by the Court here that Surety be gave for fees on w.ch George
Copper ^Jun.r^ of Said County came into Court and promise to pay all fees on these
premises afd
