June Court 1728 Philip Hill and John Ashley and Thomas Ashley all of Kent County Planters at the day and year afd doe Acknowledge themselves Indebted unto the Lord prop.ry of the Province of Maryland in the sum of ten pounds Sterl money each to be Leveyed &c.a Conditionally that if the afd Sus.a Hill Shall not make her psonall Appearance before the Justices of this Court to Answer unto what Shall be Objected against her by a Certain Mary Bevins wife of William Bevins Concerning the felonious takeing of four hanks of thread by her the said Sus.a And now at this Court to wit the eighteenth day of June Anno Dom. 1728 The afd Sus.a haveing appeared the said Phillip Hill John Ashley & Thomas Ashley their Recog.c & either of them is Discharged M.r George Skirven afd Returns a Recognizance of Mary Bevins wife of W.m Bevins John Young Taylor and Patrick Clark Blacksmith of the afd Co.ty for the said Mary Bevins app.c to their Court to present against the afd Susannah Hill bearing date the 26.th of Aprill Anno Dom. 1728 And now here at this Court the said Mary Bevins having appeared Ordered that the said Jn.o Young and Patrick Clark their Recog.c and either of them be Discharged The afd Mary Bevins John Young of Kent County Taylor Patrick ^Clark^ of the same Country Blacksmith at the day and year afd Before M.r George Skirven acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the sum of five pounds Sterl money each to be made and Leveyed &c.a Conditionally that if the afd Mary Bevins shall not make her personall appear.c before the Justices of this Court as a procecutor for |
