prescribed, and the said corporation shall have authority to
appoint such other officers or agents as shall be deemed neces-
sary.
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That said corporation shall have
power by its by-laws from time to time to increase or reduce
the number of its managers specified herein, provided, however,
that there shall be never less than five managers.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That no misnomer of the charit-
able corporation hereby created shall defeat or annul any
gift, grant, devise, or bequest to said corporation, provided the
intent of the donor or grantor shall sufficiently appear upon
the face of the grant, will or other writing whereby any estate,
interest or property was intended to pass to said corporation.

CHAPTER 429.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 26
of the Charter of the town of Rock Hall, as said section
was amended by Chapter 412 of the Acts of 1920, directing
the County Commissioners of Kent County to pay a certain
sum of money to said town for road purposes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 26 of the Charter of the town of Rock Hall,
as said section was amended by Chapter 412 of the Acts of 1920,
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments,
to read as follows:
26. All the streets, alleys, lanes and public grounds in the
said town of Rock Hall shall be subject, however, at all times
for municipal and police purposes, to the control of the cor-
poration, who may establish, maintain, alter and repair said
streets, alleys, lanes and public grounds, and to make such im-
provements thereof and thereon as may from time to time seem
to be necessary, as herein provided; and the County Commis-
sioners of Kent County are hereby authorized and directed to
pay to the said corporation the sum of seven hundred dollars
($700), on or before the first day of January of each year for
the purpose of keeping in repair the public ways of said town
of Rock Hall.
