required by law for the holding of primary and general elec-
tion therein.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

Approved April 13th, 1922.

CHAPTER 416.

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts, bequests and devises
contained in the last will and testament and codicils thereto
of certain persons, deceased, and also to certain gifts, grants,
mortgages, assignments of mortgages, sales, leases and deeds
made by various persons to and for the use and benefit of
sundry ministerial persons, religious corporations, denomi-
nations or sects, and to certain charitable institutions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be, and the same are hereby declared, given and
granted to the following gifts, bequests, devises, grants, mort-
gages, assignments of mortgages, sales, leases and deeds to
and for the use and benefit of certain ministerial persons, re-
ligious corporations, denominations or sects, and to certain
charitable institutions as herein set forth.

1. To the grant and deed executed by Kate G. Brooks to
the Hebrew Chizuk Amuno Congregation, a body corporate,
said deed being dated May 5, 1919, and recorded among the
Land Records of Baltimore City in Liber S. C. L. No. 3519.
Folio 299, conveying a certain lot of ground situated at the
intersection of the northeast corner of Eutaw Place with the
northwest corner of Chauncey Avenue in the City of Balti-
more.

2. To the grant and deed made and executed by Gertrude
W. B. Steele and John M. Steele, her husband, to the Hebrew
Chizuk Amuno Congregation, a body corporate, said deed being
dated June 11, 1919, and recorded among the Land Records of
Baltimore City in Liber 3519, Folio 300, conveying a certain
lot of ground situated on the northeast side of Eutaw Place
between Brooks Lane and Chauneey Avenue, in the City of
Baltimore.
