company so appointed shall be the same and subject to the
same limitations as provided in the preceding section.

51. The provisions of the foregoing sections shall only ap-
ply to Baltimore County, but the powers conferred by virtue
hereof upon members of fire companies shall not apply or be
exercised in incorporated cities, towns or villages which main-
tain an organized or regular police force.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

CHAPTER 415.

AN ACT to create and establish a new Election District in
Prince George's County, to be known as Berwyn District or
Election District 'No. 21, the said new district to have the
same boundaries as the present Second Precinct of the First
Election District of Prince George's County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new Electon District be and it is hereby created
and established in Prince George's County, the said new dis-
trict to be known as Berwyn District or Election District No.
21.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said Election
District so created shall have the same boundary lines as the
present boundary lines of the Second Precinct of the First Elec-
tion District of Prince George's County, the same being bound-
ed on the north by the present boundary lines between the First
and Second Precincts of the First Election District of said
county; on the east by the Lanham District or District No. 20 ;
on the south by Riverdale District or Election District No. 19,
and on the west by Chillium District or Election District No.
17.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the Supervisors of
Elections of Prince George's County are authorized and di-
rected to appoint registration and election officers for such
Berwyn District and to provide the necessary and usual books,
ballots and ballot boxes and to do all other matters and things
