and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of all the members
elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly of
Maryland shall take effect on the date of the passage thereof.

CHAPTER 411.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 17 of the .Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's
County," sub-title "Orphans' Court," said new section to
follow immediately after Section 496 of said Article 17 and
to be known and designated as Section 496A.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Prince George's County," sub-title "Orphans' Court,"
said new section to follow immediately after Section 263 of
said Article 17 and to be known and designated as Section
496A.
Section 496A. The judges of the Orphans' Court of Prince
George's County shall each receive a per diem salary of
twelve dollars ($12.00) to be paid by the County Commis-
sioners of said county in quarterly payments; and the first
payment on account of such salary shall be made on the first
Tuesday in the month of July, 1923, and thereafter on the first
Tuesday in the months of October, January, April and July in
each year; and the County Commissioners of said county at
the time for their annual levy for the year 1923, and annually
thereafter, shall levy upon the assessable property of the said
county a sum sufficient to pay the salaries of the judges of the
Orphans' Court as above provided.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That said judges of said
Orphans' Court shall hold sessions of said court on the first,
second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, except when such
days are legal holidays, and on such other days as the business
of the court may require their presence.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That any Acts or parts
of Acts inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed solely to the
extent that said Acts or parts of Acts affect the salaries of
