judges of the Orphans' Court and time of meeting of said
court in Prince George's County.

SEC. 4. And be U further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

CHAPTER 412.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners of
Harford County to refund a certain sum of money to R.
Coleman Sheridan.

WHEREAS, R. Coleman Sheridan assumed the office of Sheriff
of Harford County on January 1, 1918; and

WHEREAS, Under the provisions of Section 250 of the Pub-
lic Local Laws of Harford County, as amended by Chapter 98
of the Acts of 1918, the Sheriff was entitled to two hundred
and fifty dollars ($250) per month for the expenses of the
said office; and

WHEREAS, The said R. Coleman Sheridan did not receive
any payment for the expenses of his office from January 1,
1918, to June 1, 1918 as the law did not go into effect until
June 1st; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Harford County be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to pay to R. Cole-
man Sheridan, of said county, twelve hundred and fifty dol-
lars ($1,250) to cover the expenses of the office of Sheriff
from January 1, 1918, to June 1, 1918.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Washington County,"
sub-title "County Commissioners," to be known as Section
