diately after Section 4 of said Chapter 650 of the Acts of
1920, to be numbered Section 4A, and to read as follows:

4A. The commission provided for by Section 4 of this
Act, shall, on or before June 15, 1922, be succeeded by a
commission consisting of the Governor, State Treasurer and
Comptroller of the Treasury, ex officio, and nine other persons
who shall be appointed by the Governor, as follows: Three
for a term of two years; three for a term of four years, and
three for a term of six years. Thereafter the Governor, bi-
ennially, with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall
appoint three persons for a term of six years dating from the
fifteenth day of June succeeding their appointment. They
shall hold office until their successors are qualified, so that
there shall always be nine appointed members of the commis-
sion. In case of vacancy, the Governor shall appoint for the

unexpired term. The commission shall serve without compen-

sation.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after June 1st, 1922.

CHAPTER 327.

AN ACT to direct the County Commissioners of Charles Coun-
ty, Maryland, to refund to DeLange Robinson, the sum of
twenty-two dollars and eighty-three cents ($22.83), paid in
error by him for the levy of 1920, into the County Treasury,
as State and County Taxes, and to make levy for the same.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Charles County be
and they are hereby directed, to refund to DeLange Robinson
the sum of twenty-two dollars and eighty-three cents ($22.83),
paid in error by him into the County Treasury, as State and
County Taxes for the levy of 1920, and the said County Com-
missioners are hereby directed to levy in the next succeeding
levy for taxes, a sum sufficient to pay said DeLange Robinson,
the above mentioned amount.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.
