Brunswick, in Frederick County, etc., be and the same is
hereby repealed, and re-enacted with amendments, so as to read
as follows:

B. Qualifications of Voters.

The male and female inhabitants of said town, who at the
date of any municipal election therein are respectively twenty-
one years of age, and qualified and entitled to vote under the
Constitution and laws of the State of Maryland at any State
election held in the State of Maryland and have been bona fide
residents of the town for one year and of the ward wherein

they severally purpose to vote for thirty days next provided,
shall possess qualifications of voters for thirty days next pre-
ceding such election, and who are registered as hereinbefore
provided, shall possess qualifications of voters in such ward and
shall be entitled to vote at any election for Mayor and Council-
men, or at any other municipal election therein.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

CHAPTER 292.

AN ACT to require the Court Stenographer of the Circuit
Court for Harford County to give corporate security for the
faithful discharge of his duties and to provide for the pay-
ment of the premium thereon.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Court Stenographer of the Circuit Court for
Harford County be, and he is hereby, required as a condition
precedent to the holding of his said office to give a corporate
bond to the State of Maryland in the penal sum of two thou-
sand ($2,000.00) dollars conditioned for the faithful perform-
ance of all of his duties as such stenographer.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That said bond shall be
responsible for any loss, damage, costs or expenses suffered or
incurred by any interested person or persons from or on ac-
count of any failure of said stenographer to perform all or any
of his duties in a prompt and efficient manner.
