of this Act, in addition to such sum or sums of money as is
hereinafter provided for to maintain said police force.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That all fines, penalties
and forfeitures of every kind, character, nature and descrip-
tion for any and all offenses imposed by any Justice of the
Peace or any Judge of the Circuit Court for Montgomery
County and collected by any officer authorized to collect any
fine, penalty or forfeiture in said county, said sum or sums
of money so collected by any officer, as aforesaid, shall within
30 days from the date of its collection be paid over to the
County Commissioners of Montgomery County, and said
County Commissioners shall direct that said sum or sums of
money shall be credited to the Police Fund, as aforesaid, and
said County Commissioners are authorized, empowered and
directed to expend for the maintenance and upkeep of said
police system and the salary and expenses incurred thereby
any sum or sums of money that they may deem proper and
necessary out of such police fund to better govern and police
the said county.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That all fees, costs and
charges in any and all criminal and civil cases allowed con-
stables under the local or general law of this State that are
paid over to any member of the County Police Force that
said member is required to pay over any and all fees so col-
lected by him, without any deduction whatsoever, to the said
County Commissioners, said money to be credited to the Police
Fund, as aforesaid.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Montgomery County shall have full authority
and supervision of any and all members of said police force,
and shall pass such orders and regulations governing their
actions as members of said force from time to time as said
County Commissioners may ordain.

SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on the first day of July, in the year 1922.
