the supplies necessary to operate and maintain said motor cycle
and his official equipment, and the County Commissioners
shall not be required to pay any bills for supplies, equipment
or uniform of any member of the police force. That each
and every member, including the Chief of said Police, shall
be required before entering upon the duties of his office to
execute a bond to the State of Maryland, to be approved by
the County Commissioners, in the penalty of $2000.00 con-
ditioned for the true and faithful performance of the duties
of his office, said bond to be recorded in the office of the Clerk
of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. That the mem-
bers of said force, including the Chief, shall at all times be
under the supervision of the County Commissioners, and may
be removed from office at any time with or without cause or
notice. That any member of said force may be required to
execute any and all writs of the Police Justice for Mont-
gomery County or any Justice of the Peace of said county or
the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, and no member of
said force shall be permitted to receive any fee or compensa-
tion for any service or services so rendered except as herein
provided for. That the salary of the members of said police
force shall be $1500.00 per annum, payable monthly by the
County Commissioners, and the County Commissioners are
further authorized and directed to pay to every member of the
force an additional sum of $300.00 per annum for the pur-
pose of defraying each member's expenses for materials and
supplies for his motor cycle, uniform and official equipment,
and no other fees or compensation of any kind whatsoever.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners are hereby authorized, directed and empowered to
purchase motor cycles with or without side cars as the County
Commissioners in their discretion may think advisable for the
use of the members of the County Police, and said County
Commissioners may from time to time sell, trade or otherwise
dispose of said motor cycles and purchase new ones at such
time as they may regard the purchase of new machines advis-
able.

SEC 5. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners shall create and set apart a: fund to be known and
designated as the Police Fund, and the County Commission-
ers are authorized, empowered and directed to levy each and
every year such sum or sums of money in said fund as may be
necessary and requisite to carry out the intent and purposes
