violation of this Act shall be fined $300. 00 for each and every
offense, and shall stand committed to the county jail or the
Baltimore City Jail until such fine and costs are paid, such
imprisonment shall not exceed 90 days for each offense. One-
half of the fine shall be paid to the informer causing the arrest
and conviction, and the remaining one-half shall be paid to the
Comptroller of this State or the State Game Department, to
be credited to the State Game Protection Fund.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws, both local
and general, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, are
hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

CHAPTER 249.

AN ACT to add two additional sections to Article 22, Code
of Public Local Laws, title "Washington County, " sub-title
"Foxes, " to follow Section 151 and to be known as Sections
151A and 151B.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That two additional sections be added to Article 22,
Section 151, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Wash-
ington County, " sub-title "Foxes, " to follow Section 151 and
to be known as Sections 151A and 151B, so as to read as
lows:

151A. No person shall trap or attempt to trap or set any
steel trap, dead fall or other device on the lands of another
without the written consent of the owner, and without, at the
time of such trapping or setting of any steel trap, or dead
fall or any other device whatever, he has in his possession such
written consent and shall exhibit it to anyone demanding to

examine it, and providing further, that any person setting
or placing a steel trap on the lands of another, shall set or
place such steel trap not less than eighteen inches within the
entrance of any hole, cave, opening or hollow log, on such
property, so as to be inaccessible to any domestic animal, dogs
or fowls; and providing further, that any person finding any
trap, dead fall or other device used for trapping purposes, as
