words "building and equipment. "

CHAPTER 200.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
278, 279, 280, 281, 282, 283, 284, 285 and 286 of Article
17 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title, "Prince George's
County, " as the same were repealed and re-enacted by Chap
ter 801 of the Acts of 1914, denning the duties of the County
Commissioners of said county in relation to roads and
bridges; providing for nineteen road districts in said county;
for district supervisors; for district road committees; and
the method of appointment of the said district supervisors
and District road committees; for the sale of live stock and
the distribution and sale of equipment; and creating a
bridge and emergency fund, and also adding two new sec-
tions to Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Prince George's County, " to follow immediately after
Section 288, and to be known as Sections 289 and 290; and
providing further for special taxes for roads, and special
district levies for roads, and for the employment of an
engineer.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 278, 2Y9, 280, 281, 282, 283, 284, 285 and
286, of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
Prince George's County, " as the same were repealed and re-
enacted by Chapter 801 of the Acts of 1914, be and the same
are hereby repealed and re-enacted and that two new sections
be and the same are hereby added to Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Prince George's County to be known as
Sections 289 and 290, and to follow immediately after Section
288, and to read as follows:
Section 278. There shall be a system of free public roads
'and bridges in Prince George's County, and all matters affect-
ing roads and bridges in said county shall be under the con-
trol of the Board of County Commissioners of said county, ex-
cept in incorporated towns, and except insofar as control is
conferred upon the district road committees, and the district
road supervisors created by this Act.
