instalments and amounts as the said Board of Education may
deem advantageous to the public in carrying on the work for
which the same are issued; and the money arising from the
sale of said bonds shall be paid over to the Board of Education
for Dorchester County to be used by it in its discretion, for
building and equipping a new public high school in Cambridge
or vicinity in said Dorchester County, and for renovating,
repairing, building and equipping schools in Hurlock and other
parts of Dorchester County, and for that purpose the said
Board of Education is clothed with full authority to contract
for, supervise, direct and control such work, in such manner
as in its discretion it may deem to the best public interest; and
full power is given to it to employ and pay from said funds all
architects, builders or other persons, supervisors or agents as
may in the judgment of said Board of Education seem ad-
visable.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the proceeds aris-
ing from the sale of said bonds shall be paid over by the County
Commissioners to the Board of Education of Dorchester
County for the purpose of purchasing a public school site, if
they should deem the same necessary, and erecting thereon a
new public high school in the Town of Cambridge or vicinity,
and for the purpose of building, repairing, renovating or en-
larging public school buildings in Hurlock or vicinity and in
other parts of Dorchester County, subject to the provisions
of this Act, and for the purpose of acquiring titles to such
lands as may in the judgment of said Board of Education of
Dorchester County be necessary, the said Board of Education
of Dorchester County is by this Act empowered under the laws
of this State to proceed by condemnation proceedings, if nec-
essary, for the acquisition of the title thereto.

SEC. 4. And 'be it further enacted, That the said interest cou-
pons and the said principal of said bonds shall be payable at the
office of the County Treasurer of Dorchester County, and when
any of such coupon or coupons, bond or bonds shall be paid or
redeemed, it or they shall be cancelled or destroyed by the

County Treasurer and a note made thereof on record of said
bond.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the purchase of land,
furniture, or other equipment or supplies necessary or proper
for the use of said high schools shall be considered and con-
strued and is hereby declared to be included within the powers
