preservation of the public safety, and being passed upon a yea
and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elect-
ed to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 153.
AN ACT to incorporate the Town of Brentwood, in Prince
George's County, Maryland, and to provide for the submis-
sion of this question to the qualified voters of said town for
their adoption or rejection.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the citizens of the Town of Brentwood are a body
corporate, by the name of the Mayor and Town Council of
Brentwood, and by that name may have perpetual succession,
sue and be sued, have and use a common seal, and may pur-
chase and hold real estate, or dispose of the same for the benefit
of said Town.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the boundaries of
the said town shall be as follows: Beginning at the northern-
most corner of the corporation of Mount Rainer, which is at
the intersection of 34th and Grape streets, and running thence
in a northeasterly direction along the Southeastern line of
Kline's farm, 3/16th of a mile, more or less, to an intersection
with the Northwest branch of the Anacostia River; and con-
tinuing thence in a Southeasterly general direction along said
stream 14 mile, more or less, to the intersection of the South-
eastern line of Czarra's sub-division; then following said stream
to the northeast corner of Lot No. 66 of Block 16 of
Czarr's sub-division; thence in a Southeasterly direction
along Mover's mill race 200 feet, more or less, to an intersec-
tion of Lynn street; thence in a southwesterly general direction
along Mover's mill race to an intersection with Pine street;
thence in an Easterly direction 300 feet, more or less, to an
intersection with Park avenue; thence 300 feet, more or less,
to center line of alley of Ralston and Ray's re-subdivision;
thence along center line of said alley to the east side of
Ivy street; thence in a southerly direction on Ivy street 30
feet, more or less, to the center line of said alley; thence in an
easterly direction along center line of said alley to the line of
