CHAPTER 144.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 8 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland, title "Cecil County, " sub-
title "Charlestown, " said new section to be known as Sec-
tion 80-A and to follow immediately after Section 80 of
said Article, Legalizing the survey of said town as made
by John Janney in 1836.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Cecil
County, " sub-title "Charlestown, " said new section, to be
known as Section 80-A, to follow immediately after Section 80
of said Article, and to read as follows:

80-A. The John Janney survey, plat or blueprint of the
same made in the year 1836 shall be recognized as a correct
survey of the town of Charlestown and received as evidence
in any court of law or equity in the State of Maryland. The
said survey, plat or blueprint shall be filed and recorded with
the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cecil County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

Approved April 13th. 1922.

CHAPTER 145.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 1 of
Chapter 455 of the Acts of 1904, authorizing the County
Commissioners of Cecil County to increase the appropriation
to the Union Hospital of said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 1 of Chapter 455 of the Acts of 1904, be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to
read as follows:

1. The County Commissioners of Cecil County be and
they are hereby authorized and empowered to appropriate
and contribute annually to the Union Hospital of Cecil County
for the support and maintenance thereof, such sum of money
not exceeding three thousands dollars as in their discretion
they, or a majority of them, may deem proper and necessary;
