134. Before any deed for the conveyance of real estate in
Queen Anne's County shall be received for record by the
Clerk of the Circuit Court thereof, the person offering said
deed for record shall submit the same to the Clerk of the
County Commissioners of said County, who shall thereupon
make transfer on the County assessment books of the said
property to the name of the new owner or owners thereof,
and as evidence of said transfer, shall stamp upon the deed
his certificate thereof, and no deed shall be received for record
without said certificate. At the time of submitting the deed
to the Clerk of the County Commissioners, the person offering
the same shall furnish said Clerk with a statement of the
buildings, if any, upon the land conveyed by said deed, and
the price paid for the property. All Acts or parts of Acts
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1st, 1922.

CHAPTER 19.
AN ACT to create and establish a new election district in
Garrett County, to be known as Avilton District No. 15,
and to provide for the proper registration of the legal
and qualified voters therein.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new election district be and it is hereby created
and established in Garrett County from parts of Districts
Nos. 3, 9, and 11, and to be known as Avilton District No. 15,
and said district to be established by said Supervisors of
Elections as hereinafter provided, in time for the registration
of voters legally entitled to register therein at the next general
registration as provided for under the general laws of Mary-
land.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said election
district so created shall be within the following bounds, to wit:
Beginning at the forks of the road at Lewis Warnick's on the
lower New Germany road, and with said road by way of the
Dorcey place to the National Pike and then with the National
Pike to the line of District No. 9, and then by a straight line
