PROVIDING for the appointment by the Governor of Mary-
land, of a Commission to study carefully our whole judicial
system and methods for its improvement, and report to
the next General Assembly.
WHEREAS, the maintenance of the highest standards in the ad-
ministration of justice is of the utmost importance to our State r
Now, THEREFORE, be it
Resolved by fhe General Assembly of Maryland, That a
Commission, to be known as the "Judiciary Commission", not
exceeding twenty-one in number, be appointed by the Governor
of Maryland, to serve without compensation, for the purpose of
studying carefully, the whole judicial system of this State and
methods for its improvement, and the Commission shall report
the result of its labors to the General Assembly of 1924.

NO. IT.
Authorizing and empowering the Governor to select a com-
mission comprising the State Roads Commission and such other
persons as he may deem advisable to take up with the author-
ities of the State of Virginia, the proposition to purchase the-
two bridges across the Potomac River, one at Point of Rocks
and one at Brunswick, and to submit their report to the next
session of the General Assembly.

NO. 18.
JOINT RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the State Roads
Commission to expend a certain sum of money from Worces-
ter County's Road Fund for dynamite to keep open the
Inlet and Bay two miles south of Ocean City.
Resolved, That the State Roads Commission be and is here-
by authorized and directed to spend two thousand ($2,000)
dollars ont of any road funds available from Worcester Coun-
