Re-solved, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates and the
Secretary of the Senate be and are hereby directed to forward
to the President of the United States at least three copies of
this resolution, with the respectful request that the President
kindly forward a copy through to the present government of
Ireland.

Joint Resolution authorizing and requesting the Governor to
appoint a Commission, to be known as the "Commission on
Laws of Minors," to review the laws of Maryland relating
to minors and to report with recommendations to the next
session of the General Assembly.
WHEREAS, A commission heretofore appointed by the Gov-
ernor to review the laws relating to minors in this State has
reported that in order to conclude its work early in the present
session of the General Assembly it has been compelled to leave
some questions unconsidered, and deems it wise that another
commission be appointed with an opportunity to study and dis-
cuss the general subject during the whole of th6 two years
before the next session of the General Assembly; therefore,
be it
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Governor be, and he is hereby, authorized and requested to ap-
point a commission of seven persons, who shall proceed to re-
view and study all the laws of this State relating to minors,
and shall report their conclusions and recommendations in
writing to the General Assembly at its session of 1924; and be
it further
Resolved, That the commission shall be known as the "Com-
mission on Laws of Minors," and that its members shall serve
without pay.
