diate preservation of the public health and safety, and the same
being passed upon a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths
of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly, shall take effect upon the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 79.

AN ACT to prohibit the killing of foxes while being pursued
by hounds in Calvert County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be unlawful in Calvert County for any
person to shoot any fox while it is being pursued by hounds.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That any person violat-
ing the provisions of this Act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor
and upon conviction shall be fined not less than five dollars nor
more than twenty dollars for each and every offense.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

Approved March 21st, 1922.

CHAPTER 80.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel County to borrow money upon the credit of said
County to redeem outstanding certificates of indebtedness.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of County Commissioners of Anne Arun-
del County be and is hereby authorized to borrow money on
the credit of said County for the purpose of redeeming out-
standing certificates of indebtedness that may be issued by
them from time to time, and the amount borrowed at any time
shall not exceed the amount of outstanding certificates of in-
debtedness.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said Board of
County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County shall borrow
said money upon their note or notes to be signed by the Pres-
