subject to the payment of the annual rent cf sixty dollars, pay-
able annually on January first: the second lot thereof being
on the north side of Franklin Street, at the distance of twenty-
two feet easterly from the northeast corner of Franklin and

Jasper Street, and fronting on Franklin Street about twenty-
seven feet six and one-half inches, said lot being in fee simple;
the third lot thereof being' on the east side of Jasper Street at
the distance of ninety-six feet six inches northerly from the
corner formed by the intersection of the north side of Frank-
lin Street and the east side of Jasper Street and running thence
northerly binding on the east side of Jasper Street twenty-
eight feet, said lot being in fee simple; said deed bearing date
of March 23, 1920, and recorded among: the Land Records of
Baltimore City in Liber S. C. L. Xo. 3550. folio 49, etc.

CHAPTER 476.

AN ACT to incorporate The Minister and Trustees of the
Hampden Methodist Protestant Church in Baltimore City.

SECTION 1. Be U enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Luther J. Cox, James F. Gibson, Jacob Baughman,
John Knight, Thomas J. Bond and Elisha Karr, and their suc-
cessors duly elected as hereinafter provided, and Daniel W.
Bates, their minister for the time being, and his successor or
successors, be and they are hereby constituted a bpdy corporate
by the name, style and title of "The Minister and Trustees of
the Hampden Methodist Protestant Church in Baltimore City,"
and by that name shall have perpetual succession, and shall be
able to sue and be sued, implead and be impleaded, in any
court of law or equity of this State or elsewhere, and to make
and have a common seal, and the same to break, alter and re-
new at their pleasure, and also to ordain and establish such
by-laws and ordinances as shall appear necessary for regulating1
the corporate concerns of said church, and for promoting:
religion within the same, not being1 repugnant to this Act nor
to the laws of this State.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That said corporation
shall be composed of six trustees to be elected annually in the
manner and at the periods hereafter specified, who together
with the Minister in charge for the time being shall form -
