W.m Savage

William Savage of this County was som.d to Answer to Thomas:
Seward  in a plea that he render to him y.e sum of four hundred
pounds of tobacco w.ch to him he oweth & Unjustly Detaineth

And Whereupon y.e s.d Thomas Seward by W.m Harris his Attorny
Complaineth & saith: that whereas y.e s.d W.m y.e twelfth Day
of Ap.ll in y.e yeare of ou.r Lord God one thousand six hundred
eighty & four: Did by his Certaine writting from Under y.e hand
& seale of him y.e s.d William: Cause himselfe to be bound to him
y.e s.d Thomas in y.e afores.d sume of four hundred pounds of tobacco
sett y.e s.d William to him y.e s.d Thomas y.e afores.d sum of
tobacco hath not payed: although often thereunto Required but y.e
same to pay hath Demed & as yeat Doth Denie to y.e Damage
of y.e s.d Thomas the sume of six hundred pounds of tobacco &
thereupon he bringeth his suite    Harris p.r q.r

This Def.t app.r but not puting in a plea according to the
rules of this Court. Judgment awarded for y.e plantife for four
hundred pds of tob.o & cost of sute

Therefore it is Considered by this court y.t the plantif shall
recover from y.e Dft the sume of four hundred pds of
tobacco & Cost of sute

Robertt Park

Rob.t Park of y.e afores.d County stands attached to answer unto Benjamin
Hamlin in a plea of dettenue

And whereupon y.e s.d Benja by Robertt smith his Attorny Complaineth &
saith: that y.e s.d Robertt this p.rsent yeare hath & still doth Detaine of &
from y.e s.d Benjam A Certaine quantity of Pork by weight y.e sume
of two hundred & eighteen pounds: of the proper goods & Chattels of him y.e s.d
Benjamin: And to him delivered meaning the s.d Benjamine as he meaning
y.e s.d Benjam is sufficiently able to prove: notwithstanding y.e s.d Robertt
though thereunto Required & Desired hath not Delivered y.e Pork as aboves.d
to y.e Damage of him y.e s.d Benjam six hundred pounds of tobacco & there
upon he bringeth his suite
