883 John Dale being Committed into the sheerif Custody by M.r Phillip Hopkins until he find security for his good behivior and Appearance att Next Court the said John Dale now Appeares and humbly supplicates this Court to for give him The Court Admonisheth him and upon his promise that for the future he will be more carefull & his present submission Ordered that the sd John Dale be discharged paying his Fees S Wilmer Clk John Fitz Patrick Servant to M.r William Ringgold Adjudged by this Court to be Twenty Yeares of Age and to serve according to Act of Assembly in that case made & provided S Wilmer Clk Command was given to the sheerif of Kent County the 23.th day of June Anno Dom 1697 that he take James Williams if he should be found in his Bailiwick and him safe Keepe soe that he have his Body before his Maj.ties Justices att the next Court to Answer unto Thomas Bruff of a plea that he rend.r unto him 1200.ll of Tobaccoe Att which Court viz the 24.th day of Augu.st Anno Dom 1697 the day of returne of sd Writt came Cap.t Edward Sweatnam high sheerif of sd County and made returne of sd Writt in these words viz Cepi p me Edw Sweatnam sheft On which sd day came the sd Defend.t by Richard Macklin his Att.ry and App.rs and prayes therof to Imparle until the Next Court which was granted the same day is given to the plt likewise Which said cause being confirmed from Court to Court until this p.rsent day And now here att this day the sd cause standing for Tryal came the sd Plant by Michael Earle his Att.ry as allsoe the sd Defend.t by his said attory and the sd plt. declareth viz: |
