To which Indictm.t the sd Robert Hurd pleads not guilty
and for Tryal puts himselfe upon God and the Country

And the King in like manner Macklin p Dom Reg

Command was therfore Given to the sheerif of Kent County
that he cause Twelve good and Lawfull men of his Bailiwick
to come before this Court to Try y.e Issue Joyned as above
which jury are viz

    John Weyatt
    Steephen Whetston
    Tho Steevens
    George Powel
 John Johnson
Peter Peterson
John Tyllard
John Meriday
 Nicholas Massey
Robert Dunn
John Hamer
John Hues
Jurors

Which jury being duely sworne to try the Issue Joyned &c.a
And.r Hambleton sworne Charles Ryly sworne Sam.l
Taylor sworne James Williams sworne Tho Screwes swor
as allsoe the pleadings on both sides the Court give the jury
their charge who withdraw for some time to consider on y.e
p.rmises and after some time doe returne and being called over
according to y.e above Pannel as allsoe y.e sd Robert Hurd
the sd jury by their foreman doe say y.t y.e sd Robert Hurd is
guilty

It is therfore Ordered by this Court that the sheft take
the said Rob.t Hurd into his Custody and that he Carry him
to some conven.t place and give him the sd Robert Hurd
Twenty Lashes upon his bare Back well laid on Warr.t is
according to y.e above Order Issued to y.e sheerif
