780 The said John 2400.ll of the like quallified Tobaccoe and therupon he brings this suit Macklin p q.r pledges &c.a John Doe Ri Roe
Which obligacon being Read and the said Defend.t neither by himselfe nor Attorney makeing any objection more Judgm.t is Awarded fo.r the Ballance there appearing a Receipt on the back of said Bill for Four hundred and Twelve poundes of Tobaccoe Therfore it is considered by this Court that the Plt John Chaires doe Recover from the Defend.t Thomas Collins the sume of seaven hundred Eighty and Eight poundes of Tobaccoe as allsoe the sume of Two hundred Twenty and Three poundes of Tobaccoe cost of suit Simon Wilmer Clk
Command was given to the sheerif of Kent County the 26.th day of March Anno Dom 1697 that he Take Rennatus Smith if he should be found in his Bailiwick and him safe Keepe soe that he have his Body before his Maj.ties Justices att the Next Court to Answer unto W.m Hemsley of a plea of Trespasse upon the case Att which Court viz the 22.th day of June Anno Dom 1697 the day of Returne of sd Writt came Cap.t Edward Sweatnam high sheerif of said County and made Returne of sd Writt in these wordes viz Cepi p me Edw Sweatnam sheft On which day came the said Rennatus Smith by Richard Macklin his Attorney and prayes therof to imparle until the next Court the which was Granted the same day is Given to the plt allsoe And now here att this day viz the 25.th day of August Anno Dom 1697 came as well the said Plt in his proper person as allsoe the sd Defend.t by Richard Macklin his Attorney and the said cause standing for Tryal Declr is Read viz |
