passing of the sd Bill menconed in the plt Declaracon the said Edward Slade in his life time did fully satisfie and pay the aforesd Bill unto the said Thomas Bruff and this they are ready to verify and prove and wherupon prayes Judgment Macklin pro Defend.t Robert Smith Esq being sum as an Evidence on the behalfe of the Defend.t and being duely sworne upon his ^oath^ declares that he did by Order and upon the Acc.o of Edward Slade in his life time discompt the said sum of Tobaccoe (with Thomas Bruff) due by Bill menconed in the Plt declaracon The Evidence as above being duely considered by this Court Judgm.t is Awarded for a Non suit Therfore it is considered by this Court that the Defend.ts William Sigley and Mercy his Wife in their Capacities doe Recover from the Plt Thomas Bruff as well the sume of Fifty poundes of Tobaccoe for his falce clamor as allsoe the sume of Two hundred Eighty and One poundes of Tobaccoe cost of suit Simon Wilmer Clk Upon Complaint made to this Court by M.r Michael Miller Ordered that Sarah Hall be committed unto the sheerif his Custody Simon Wilmer Clk Thomas Scotton and Mary his Wife Acknowledge a Deed to Edmund Webb for One Moiety or halfe part of a Tract of Land called Crumps Chance |
