751 Att which Court viz the 23.th day of March Anno Dom 1696 came Edward Sweatnam high sheerif of said County and made Returne of the said Writt in these following Words viz Cepi Edw Sweatnam sheft And the said Thomas Joce on the said day by Griffith Jones his Attorney appearing prayes therof to Imparle until the next Court which was granted the same day is given to the Plt likewise And now here att this day viz the 23.th day of June Anno Dom 1697 came the said Thomas Joce by Griffith Jones his Atto.ry but the said Plt not prosecuting his Accon aforesaid Judgment is Awarded for a Non suit Therfore it is considered by this Court that the Defend.t Thomas Joce Doe recover from the Plt William Bently as well the sume of Fifty poundes of Tobaccoe for a Non suit as allsoe the sume of One hundred and Fifty poundes of Tobaccoe cost of suit Simon Wilmer Clk Command was given to the sheerift of Kent County the 28.th day of Jan.ry Anno Dom 1696 to take Thomas Leister if he should be found in his Bailiwick and him safe Keepe soe that he have his Body before his Maj.ties Justices att the next Court to Answer unto Thomas Bruff of a plea that he render unto him 498.ll of Tob Att which Court viz the 23.th day of March Anno Dom 1696 came Cap.t Edward Sweatnam high sheerif of said County and made returne of sd Writt in these Following Words viz Cepi p me Edw Sweatnam sheft And the said Thomas Leister on the said 23.th day of March by Richard Macklin his attorney Appearing prayes therof to Imparle until the next Court which was granted the same day is given to the Plt allsoe |
