748 Robert Taylor and Frances his Wife Acknowledge a Deed to M.r Richard Bennitt for Two hundred Acres of Land To the Worshipfull his Maj.ties Justices of the Peace for Kent County the humble Peticon of W.m Brewer Humbly sheweth That Whereas Your Peticon.r came into this Country as a serv.t and sould to Maj.r Joseph Weickes and served him in his life time Three Yeares and since his Death he hath served Coll S.t Leadger Codd Four Yeares the Just time adjudged for him to serve May it Please Yo.r Worships Your Petition.r came into the Country on the 20.th day of Aprill 1690Therfore Your Peticon.r humbly prayes Your Worships to take the case of Your sd Peticon.r into Your serious and mature consideracon whose property is to doe Justice and Relieve the peace which in no case is suspected and Your Pet.r as in duty bound shall pray &c.a as allsoe corne and cloathes to be adjudged Hemsley p plt The Court haveing considered the above Peticon and it appearing to them that the said W.m Brewer had seved his full & due time It is therfore considered by this Court That William Brewer doe recover from Coll S.t Leadger Codd Corne and Clothes according to the Custome and usage of this Province in such cases Simon Wilmer Clk M.r Edward Blay and Anna his Wife being privately Examined doe acknowledge a Deed for Three hundred and Fifty Acres of Land to Samuel Thomas |
