Command was given to the sheerif of Kent County y.e 28.th day of Jan.ry
Anno Dom 1696 that by good and Lawfull men of his Bailiwick
he make Knowne to Robert Browne soe that he be and appeare
before his Maj.ties Justices att y.e Next Court to shew cause if &c.a
why Execucon should Issue ag.t him for Four hundred poundes
of Tobaccoe due to Simon Wilmer for clerk Fees

Att which Court Court viz the 23.th day of March Anno Dom
1696 the day of returne of the sd Writt came Capt Edward
Sweatnam high sheerif of sd County and made returne of sd
Writt in these Words Following viz I have made Knowne to
the within Named Rob.t Browne before Edward Rush and
W.m Price that he be and appeare &c.a as by this precept I am
commanded Edw Sweatnam sheft

And Now here att this day the sd Robert Browne app.ring but
haveing no reasonable cause to shew why Execucon should not
Issue

Therfore it is considered by this Court that the plt Simon Wilmer
have Execucon ag.t the Defend.t Robert Browne as well for the
aforesd sume of Fower hundred pounds of Tobaccoe debt as allsoe
the sume of Two hundred Twenty and six poundes of Tobaccoe
cost of suit
