Therfore it is considered by this Court that the Plantif
Thomas Steevens doe Recover from the Defend.ts Stephen
Whetstone and Sarah his Wife Ex.rs as aforesaid the said
sume of six hundred and sixty poundes of Tobaccoe as allsoe
the sume of Two hundred sixty and Three poundes of Tobaccoe
cost of suit

Trespasse sur Case continued

Whereas Simon Wilmer Clerk of Kent County and Adm.rs
of all and singuler the goods rights and Credits of Lambert Wilmer
late of said County decead had by vertue of his Maj.ties Writts of scire
facias directed to the sheerif of said County the 26.th day of August
Anno Dom 1696 and att the then Next Court viz on the 28.th day
of October then Next following Two Judgments renewed ag.t Joshua
Hollingshead the One for Two Thowsand six hundred sixty and
Eight poundes of Tob Debt and Four hundred Thirty and Two poundes
of Tobaccoe cost of suit the other for One Thowsand poundes of
Tobaccoe and four hundred and Fifty poundes of Tobaccoe cost
of suit as by the Record of the said Court doth appeare being
consonant to Two Judgments obtained by the sid Lambart in
his life time against the said Joshua att a Court held for
said County y.e 24.th day of August Anno Dom 1696

Command was therfore given to the Coroner of Kent County
the 30.th day of October Anno Dom 1696 to Attach any the goods
Chattels debts rights or Credits of Joshua Hollingshead if they
should be found in his Bailiwick to the value of Two Thowsand
poundes of Tobaccoe and when the same he had soe Attached or any
part therof that by good and Lawfull men &c.a he make Knowne &
soe that he the or they be att the Next Court to shew &c.a why the same
should not be condemned in their handes &c.a

Att which Court viz on the 24.th day of November Anno Dom
1696 the day of returne of the Writt aforesaid came Maj.r Thomas
Smith Coroner of said County and made returne of the sd Writt in
those words viz I have Attached in the hands of Capt Edward Sweatnam
the sume of 1600.ll of Tob and have made Knowne to the said Sweatnam
to appeare &c.a as by this Writt I am commanded Tho Smyth Coron.r
