And now here att this day came the aforesd John Baudon by
William Hemsley his Attorney as allsoe the Defend.t John Knots
by Griffith Jones his Attorney and matter standing for Tryal
it appeareing to this Court that there is pd 800.ll of Tobaccoe
in part of the said Bill and the Defend.t by haveing nothing
material to say why Judgment should be stayed for the Ball.a
being 1636.ll of Tobaccoe

Therfore it is considered by this Court that the Plantif John
Baudon doe Recover from the Defend.t John Knots as well the aforesaid
sume of Sixteen hundred Thirty and six poundes of Tobaccoe
as allsoe the sume of Two hundred sixty and Three poundes of
Tobaccoe cost of suit

Command was given to the sheerif of Kent County the 30.th day
of October Anno Dom 1696 to take John Lee if he should be found
in his Bailiwick and him safe Keepe soe that he have his body
before his Maj.ties Justices att the next Court to be held for said County
to Answer unto William Frisby Gent of a plea of Tres upon the
case

Att which Court viz on the 24.th day of November for the day of
returne of the said Writt came Capt Edward Sweatnam high
sheerif of said and made returne of the the Writt aforesaid in
these following Words Cepi Corpus Edward Sweatnam sheff

And whereupon the said William Frisby by W.m Hemsley his
atto.rny complaineth that Wheras the said John Lee on the 1.st
day of February 1694 in said County within the Jurisdicon
of this Court stood justly indebted unto the said William Frisby
in the full and just sume of Eight hundred Twenty and One
poundes of good sound M.rch.table Tobaccoe in caske by Ball.a
of Acc.o the p.rticulers therof are here into Court brought in
Consideracon therof the sd John Lee upon himselfe assumed
and to the sd William Frisby faithfully promised that he
