of Tobaccoe it being for Ordinary Expences att the house
of him the sd Jn.o Salter and allsoe the sume of Twenty
poundes of Tobaccoe for proveing the same according to Act of
Assembly the perticulers therof are herunto Anexed and into
Court brought all which amounts to the sume of five hundred
Forty and six poundes of Tobaccoe in consideration
therof the sd Nathaniel upon himselfe Assumed and to the
the sd John faithfully promised that he the said Nathaniel
the sd sume of 546.ll Tobaccoe unto the sd Jn.o he would well
and truely pay when therunto required Yett Neverthelesse the
sd Nathaniel the sd sume of 546.ll Tobaccoe according to
his promise and Assumption aforesd unto the sd Jn.o he hath
not paid alltho often required but the same to pay he hath
denied and refused to the damage of the sd Jn.o One Thowsand
poundes of Tobaccoe and therupon he brings this suit

And the Defend.t by Griffith Jones his Attorney Pleads not
guilty in Manner and forme and of this he puts himselfe
upon the Country

good and lawfull men of his Bailiwick to come before
this Court to trie the Issue Joyned as above which Jury
are viz

Which Jury being duely sworne to Try the Issue Joyned betweene
the sd plt and Defend.t the Declaracon and plea as above
being Read and the Jury haveing heard the same and the
pleadings on both sides the Court giveth them their charge
who withdraw to consider on the premises and after some
time doe returne this Following verdictt Wee of y.e Jury find for the
