Att a Court held for Kent County the 22.th day of September
in the Eighth Yeare of the Reigne of William the Third King of
England Scotland France and Ireland &c.a Annoq Dom 1696

Charles Mills Tymothy Kelly et Uxor being summoned to appeare
att this Court to give in their Evidence ag.t Edward Batthurst and
Rosamond Blackiston

Charles Mills becomes bound unto our soveraigne Lord the King in
the sume of Five poundes Sterl money of England to be Leavied of
the Landes and Tenements goods and Chattels Provided he doe not
personally appeare before the Justices of Cæcil County att the Next
Court to be held for the said County the second Tuesday in October next
then and there to Testifie the Truth of his Knowledge in a certaine matter
depending in the said Court ag.t Edward Batthurst and Rosamond
Blackiston to which he gave his consent

But the said Tymothy Kelly nor his Wife appearing according to
the said summons It is Therfore Ordered by this Court that a Warrant
Issue out from the Clerk against the said Tymothy Kelly and his Wife
soe that they be brought before some one of his Maj.ties Justices for this
County there to Enter into Recognizance that they Give in their Evidence
att the next Cæcil Court to be held the second Tuesday in October
against Edward Bathurst and Rosamond Blackiston

George Smith being bound for the Appearance of Richard Morris att
the suit of Cap.t John Hawkins supplicates this Court that he may be deceased
therfrom and Robert Attcheson comes into Court and becomes security
for the said Morris his Appearance att next Court which Capt John
Hawkins Accepts of
